was born June 21, 1803 in Shepody, Hopewell, Albert Co., New Brunswick, Canada, and died April 20, 1894 in Sussex Parish, Kings Co., New Brunswick, Canada.  She Married Xenophon COUGLE February 07, 1820 in Kings County, New Brunswick, Canada.  He was born March 30, 1800 in Sussex Vale, Kings Co., New Brunswick, Canada.

Mary's obituary states that she believed she was born in Windsor, Hants Co., NS. She apparently moved to Londonderry, NS when Married to Thomas McLellan, described an as eccentric man, but retuned to Sussex after his death. She died from an apparent stroke
