born 25 Jun 1801 in Brockville, Leeds Co., Ontario, Canada "The eldest daughter of Mr. Belfry -- Then Mrs. STILES <married about 1821>" Thirza married a Henry D. Stiles. He was Reeve of East Gwillimbury for about eight years, and also was a  Justice of the Peace. Thirza slipped on ice, and broke her leg, causing her decease in her fifty-ninth year <Abt 1860> <Henry remarried a widow Niles, a sister of Wm. Cane>

Thirza and Henry had the following children (Note they also lost four children to Scarlet Fever and three others were also deceased making a total of twelve children):

• Peter B.
• Joanna
• Caroline
• Henry B.

Henry's second married to widow Niles resulted in the following children:

• Chester
• Cyrus
